Robert A. Lutz began a distinguished career with ,the
former Chrysler Corporation from 1986 to 1998,
where he reached the position of vice chairman. Lutz
also served as president and chief operating officer,
responsible for Chrysler's car and truck operations
worldwide.

Chief of the Chrysler Corporation.
Tom Gale was part of a unique team of automotive
mavericks, including former Chrysler President Bob
Lutz, and Chrysler's long-time engineering chief,
Francois Castaing. Known as the "Dream
team"together, they created such breakthrough
products as the Caravan minivan, Viper sports car
and the famous LH cars.

Former executive vice president of vehicle
engineering of the Chrysler Corporation.
Francois J. Castaing spent thirteen years with
Chrysler Corporation serving as executive vice
president of vehicle engineering through 1996
and subsequently ran Chrysler International
Operations. He retired in 2000 as technical
advisor to the Chairman of DaimlerChrysler
Corporation. He retired in 2000 as technical
advisor to the Chairman of DaimlerChrysler
Corporation.
Mr Lutz was named General Motors vice chairman of product development on September 1, 2001, and on
November 13, 2001, he was named chairman of GM North America.
The LH platforms pioneered the fabulous "Cab Forward" look. Produce from 1993 through 1998, they were
the hottest cars ever to be sold as family sedans. The debut of the 2nd generation in 1998 was totally
awesome. These cars were the Dodge Intrepid, Chrysler Concored, Chrysler LHS and the mighty Chrysler
300M. At the time nothing could touch them!
This amazing feat was accomplished 36 years earlier with the unavailing of Chrysler's' 1957 models. These
cars set the world on fire in 1957. At the time it was Design Chief Virgil M. Exner who shocked the entire
industry with a line of low, innovative, wedge-shaped automobiles, dramatized by soaring tail fins.

Tom Gale received credit for taking a failing car maker and turning it into one of the world's most
successful-and most influential company's when it comes to design trends. For almost half of his 33-year
career at Chrysler, Gale's design talent and skillful leadership formed a cornerstone of the automaker's
product revival and ultimate survival.
From 1980 to 1987, Mr. Castaing was with American Motors where he was vice president of Engineering and
later group vice president, Product and Quality, until Chrysler acquired that company. Mr. Castaing began his
career with Renault as technical director for Renault Motorsport Programs. He currently serves on the board
of directors of Amerigon Incorporated. TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. announced the election of Francois J.
Castaing to the company's board of directors in 2004.
